With this project I learned way more than I was expecting. Through making and reading, through theory and practice I acquired skills and knowledge I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for this foundation year. This project taught me a lot about animation, stop animation particularly and I recomend to anyone who’s thinking about doing art to make a foundation year.
Maybe next time I would have done things slightly differently but that’s what experience gives you, the knowledge of what not to do again
To organise myself I usually make a bunch of unrealistic to do lists, just as Claire told us to avoid. However, I now use a really useful app. It is called Todoist. I write my task, I label it, I set up a priority (1,2,3) and a date. Then I just open the day and I have a list of things to do. I can also add relevant comments concerning my tasks.
I took long and some things are not so well made like the jumper, it’s just glued because I don’t know how to sue but I generally like the outcome. I just wish I had had more time to make a stop-motion animation with this model because both the head and the ears move.
